J&K FCS & CA Deptt gets Silver SKOCH Award

Jammu, Mar 28: Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, J&K has received the Silver SKOCH Award on 106th SKOCH summit held in New Delhi for implementation of SMARTPDS Project across UT which has led to enhancing transparency, efficiency, savings in both food grains / handling charges and beneficiary empowerment under the leadership of Saurabh Bhagat, Commissioner/Secretary to the Govt., FCS&CA.
Pertinent to mention that J&K is among top 9 State/UTs and 1st among UTs to implement this project which has various components/activities like RCMS, Supply Chain Management, e-KYC, Rightful Targeting, Route Optimization, integrating migrants with NFSA database , various applications like Mera Ration , Anna Mitra and use of Adhar based PoS machines for delivery of food grains and several other initiatives .
The award was received by Anil Sharma, Regional Resident Commissioner, J&K on behalf of Saurabh Bhagat, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, FCS&CA.
