JAMMU, Nov 24: Team work helped Jammu and Kashmir to crush A&A Team by an innings and 64 runs in the Cooch Behar Under-19 Boys Cricket Tournament at Sports Stadium, Shillong on the other day.
After posting a good total of 338 in their first innings, J&K bundled out the rivals for paltry total of 91 runs and inflicted follow-on on them.
In their second essay, A&A Team managed to score 183 runs thus lost the match by an innings and 64 runs.
For J&K, Sahil Lotra scored a century (105), while skipper Qamran Iqbal (85), Vivrant (51) and Raghav Sharma (38) were the other major contributors. Paramjeet Singh took 6 wickets for A&A Team. Umar Majeed, Javaid, Mujtaba Yousuf and Sahil Lotra bowled brilliantly in both the innings to help J&K register big win. Umar took 6 wickets in the second innings, while Javed claimed 4 wickets in the first innings.
