JAMMU, Feb 16: JK Convent Pre-School Subash Nagar celebrated its 10th Annual Day function at Abhinav Theatre, here. The function began with the lighting of the lamp by the Chairman of the School, Rohit Bains, Principal Renuka Verma and other dignitaries.
After the lighting of the lamp, a colorful cultural program was presented by the students of the school.
Every performance was unique in nature. A play ‘Idgah’ based on a story written by Munshi Prem Chand was also presented by the students. The play was directed by renowned theatre directors, Ravinder Sharma and the dance performances were choreographed by Vimal Koul and Sunil.
Bhagavad Geeta was also presented to the students on the occasion.
Rohit Bains, Chairman of the school presented the vote of thanks.
Sham Lal was the chief guest, Rameshwar Singh Manhas, guest of honour, while Sohan Singh, Joginder Kumar Sharma and Vijay Sharma were the special guests on the occasion.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by anchor Kusum Tickoo.
