JAMMU, Nov 25: The Government of Jammu & Kashmir has issued an order establishing a Technical Appraisal Committee (TAC) to oversee new technology-focused education projects.
This committee, headed by the Chief Executive Officer of J&K e-Governance Agency, includes technical members from NIC, Government College of Engineering (GCET) Jammu, and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu.
Its primary task is to technically vet and approve specifications for several major initiatives, including the setup of Smart Class Rooms, procurement of Smart Boards, and the establishment of dedicated AI Labs, Browsing Centers, and Robotic Labs.
