JAMMU, Apr 11: In order to discuss their issues, a meeting of J&K Civil Secretariat Retired Employees Welfare Forum (REWF) was held here today.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of its president Nazir Ahmad Mir and was attended by senior members of the forum including General Secretary Chand Ji Bhat, M l Padha, M l Gulabi, Manohar Sharma, Jagar Nath Koul, Manzoor Ahmed Khan, P C Badan, K l Anand, Ashok Sharma, Rajinder Koul, Ashok Gupta, Rajinder Bhat, Krishen Singh and Rajinder Singh Raja.
The members focused on the issues pertaining to the Pensioners in General and Retired Employees of Secretariat in particular such as issuance of Identity Cards to the retired Secretariat Employees.
They condemned the behaviour of the concerned authorities despite of the circular instructions issued by the General Department for the issuance of Identity cards, as no cards have been issued till date, enhancement of Medical Allowance at par with ladakh UT, establishment of Darbar Move Employees colony both at Jammu and Srinagar and other pending demands.
A memorandum already submitted to the 8th Pay commission by the Forum was also highlighted by the members.
Lastly, the president thanked all the participants who attended the meeting.
