SRINAGAR, Aug 2: State’s Agriculture Minister Ghulam Hassan Mir was all praise for the J&K Bank during a function held at Hunipora, Pulwama saying, “J&K Bank understands genuine needs of the farmers well and devise suitable schemes to finance them.”
The Minister was speaking at a Kissan Mela organised by the Department of Agriculture in collaboration with the Bank. He distributed more than 1000 Kissan Credit Cards among the farmers on the occasion.
With a view to encourage inclusive growth by reaching out to almost every grower in the state, J&K Bank’s Business Units Wanpora, Newa & Kakapora participated in the mela.
Speaking on the occasion, the Lead Bank Manager explained the Kissan Credit Card Scheme in detail and asked the farmers to avail its benefits like lowest rate of interest, swift and hassle free processing.
He assured the audience of complete financial support from the Bank for every agricultural activity whether big or small to boost the sector in making the State self sufficient.
