JAMMU, Feb 19: Jammu and Kashmir Bank today launched a revamped suite of credit cards, introducing upgraded features and enhanced rewards as part of its strategy to strengthen digital banking services and expand its presence across India.
The new credit card range was unveiled by MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee at the Bank’s Jammu Divisional Office in the presence of senior officers, while other officials from the Corporate Headquarters and various offices across the country joined the event through video conferencing.
The upgraded suite includes three variants – Platinum, Platinum Privilege and Eminent – designed to cater to different customer segments based on spending patterns and lifestyle needs.
Speaking on the occasion, the MD & CEO said the move is part of the Bank’s ongoing effort to position itself as a modern, pan-India digital banking partner of choice.
He said customer expectations are changing rapidly, particularly among young and tech-savvy users, and the Bank is committed to offering products that provide better rewards and lifestyle benefits.
He emphasized that credit cards today go beyond being mere payment instruments and serve as tools that enable travel, shopping and lifestyle experiences.
The revamped cards offer milestone-based rewards, accelerated reward points, competitive forex charges and curated privileges to meet evolving consumption trends.
The Eminent Card, aimed at premium customers, offers forex charges of 1.99 percent, welcome and milestone benefits, complimentary domestic and international lounge access, golf privileges, dining and entertainment offers, and accelerated rewards on travel, dining, apparel and electronics.
The Platinum Card has been tailored for regular users and families. It provides an annual fee waiver on spending Rs 1 lakh in a year, milestone vouchers on quarterly spends above Rs 75,000, accelerated rewards on online transactions and utility payments, and domestic lounge access.
Meanwhile, the Platinum Privilege Card, specially designed for Government employees, comes with zero joining and annual fee, quarterly milestone vouchers starting at Rs 30,000 spends, complimentary domestic lounge access every quarter, fuel surcharge waivers and competitive forex charges.
Senior officials said necessary back-end preparations have been completed to ensure smooth rollout and proactive marketing of the new cards across the Bank’s network.
