SRINAGAR, Sept 7: Jammu and Kashmir Bank organised Login Day events at its zonal offices in Baramulla and Rajouri this week to support aspiring entrepreneurs under the Government’s Mission YUVA programme.
The initiative is aimed at encouraging youth to start their own businesses with financial assistance from the Bank.
At Baramulla, the event was chaired by General Manager Shabir Ahmad along with senior officers of the Bank.
During the programme, 35 sanction letters were handed over to young beneficiaries for setting up entrepreneurial ventures.
Speaking on the occasion, Shabir Ahmad said Mission YUVA was playing an important role in addressing unemployment challenges by motivating youth to become job creators instead of job seekers.
He assured that J&K Bank would continue to guide and support budding entrepreneurs to help them turn their ideas into successful businesses.
In Rajouri, the Bank in collaboration with District Administration organized “Udyami Yuva Day” at Dak Bungalow.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Chander Prakash was the chief guest, while J&K Bank General Manager Mohammad Muzaffar Wani, Deputy Director Employment Mohammad Nawaz and other senior officials were present.
On this occasion, 30 sanction letters were handed over to beneficiaries.
ADC Chander Prakash appreciated the efforts of J&K Bank in facilitating approved cases under Mission YUVA.
General Manager Mohammad Muzaffar Wani expressed satisfaction over the response from youth and assured that the Bank would continue to provide seamless and hassle-free financial support.
The events also featured interactive sessions where young entrepreneurs praised the Mission YUVA app and the assistance provided in preparing project reports.
