A statement issued by the bank said Mudasir was the sole participant from J&K to be featured in the national event, where he shared his entrepreneurial journey and the support he received under the Mudra scheme.
In a special ceremony held at the Bank’s Zonal Office in Baramulla, the Bank’s General Manager (Corporate Accounts Management) Ashutosh Sareen, Zonal Head Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, and Deputy General Manager Rakesh Magotra presented a memento to Mudasir in recognition of his achievements.
Cluster Heads Sheikh Mohammad Muzaffar and Abdul Majeed Bhat, along with other senior officials, were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, GM Ashutosh Sareen said, “Mudasir’s success reflects the impact of timely credit support and determination. We are proud to have backed his journey and will continue to support more entrepreneurs across the region.”
Mudasir had started his venture in January 2022 with a Mudra loan of Rs 3 lakh under the Bank’s Start-Up Scheme. Since then, his business has grown significantly, expanding its operations and increasing its workforce from just 3 employees to over 40.
The Bank termed his progress as a motivation for aspiring entrepreneurs and reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing small businesses in J&K.
