SRINAGAR, Aug 6: Continuing its support for public safety and traffic management, J&K Bank has provided another set of 70 traffic barricades to the Traffic Police.
The latest tranche was handed over by the Bank’s General Manager and Divisional Head, Jammu, Ashok Gupta, along with Zonal Head, Anita Nehru, to SSP Traffic Jammu, Farooq Qesar Malik.
Senior officers from both the Bank and the Traffic Police Department were present during the handover.
Ashok Gupta said the donation reflects the Bank’s commitment to civic safety.
“These barricades will help manage traffic better and promote road safety in the city. As a local institution, we are proud to support initiatives that benefit the public,” he said.
SSP Traffic Farooq Qesar Malik thanked the Bank for its continued cooperation.
He said the barricades would be particularly helpful in controlling traffic during rush hours and in sensitive areas.
Pertinently, this is part of a series of contributions by J&K Bank aimed at improving public infrastructure and supporting Government agencies in their service to the people.
