SRINAGAR, Aug 26: The Jammu & Kashmir Ball Badminton Association has revised the dates for the “My Youth My Pride” Selection Trials-cum-21 Day Residential Coaching Camp ahead of the 44th Sub-Junior National Ball Badminton Championship (2025-26), which is scheduled to be held in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu from September 25 to 28.
As per the revised schedule, the selection trials will now be held on August 29 at 2:00 PM at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh, Srinagar. A 21-Day Residential Coaching Camp for the selected players will commence the following day and continue from August 30 to September 19 at the same venue.
The association cited low participation in the previous trials as the reason for rescheduling, aiming to provide more young players across J&K an opportunity to compete for a spot in the national championship. District units are instructed to send their entries by 11:00 am on August 29. Players must register by contacting the General Secretary at 9682365877 (call/SMS/WhatsApp) with their Name, Parentage, Date of Birth, and District. Required documents: District/UT-level certificates, two passport-size photos, and valid age proof (original and photocopy).
