JJSF condemns entering of police inside College campus

JAMMU, Dec 17: Jammu Joint Students Federation (JJSF) has condemned the entering of police inside the campus of GGM Science College Jammu.
The students of college were at the peaceful protest demanding online examinations.
Rahul Sharma, activist of JJSF and student of GGM Science College speaking on the occasion said that it is very strange that without any valid reason Principal GGM Science College has called the police inside the college campus. He said we were on the peaceful protest for the last two days and we have not done any unlawful activity which may lead to such a situation. He said police cops even entered inside the classrooms which created a sense of insecurity among the peaceful studying students.
Anshu Sharma, JJSF leader while addressing media persons said it is very unfortunate that to suppress the peaceful protesting students, College administration is using such means. He said in his student life, he had never seen the police entering the campus in this much number and that too for suppressing the peaceful protesting students. He said students were demanding online examinations because most of them have studied in online mode and maximum students are not vaccinated who are made to sit in physical exam. He said daily DC Jammu is declaring new areas as micro containment zones and many students appearing in exams are coming from the same areas.
Atul Sudan Vice President Jammu Joint Students Federation appealed to DGP Jammu to look into the matter of what conditions led to the entry of such a large number of police cops inside the campus that too in the classrooms.
