NEW DELHI:
Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s office Jitender Singh today said there have been ceasefire violations in the past also in Jammu and Kashmir but the only difference is that after the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government came to power each and every breach has drawn a befitting response.
Talking to UNI, Mr Jitender Singh said, as a result, the morale of the people living in the border areas continues to be high despite the incidents. The statement came within hours of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Ministker Omar Abdullah taking a dig at him for his statement on death of six people in Pakistani shelling in Poonch sector.
