JAMMU, May 10: Exhibiting exemplary sense of social responsibility, students of Jesus Cares Convent School, Ploura Jammu raised a fund amounting to Rs 71,000 for HelpAge India, an inter-national level NGO working for the cause and care of under privileged old age persons.
The amount was handed over to the HelpAge India by Jesus Cares Convent, Principal Renu Anthony along with the students of the Kindergarten, who mobilized their resources and collected such a handsome amount to help the elderly people.
Appreciating such efforts of school students, HelpAge India, Senior Executive, Neeru Deepak Khajuria said that this is the big contribution by the students and their staff for the elderly persons, who are helpless.
