JAMMU, Aug 26: Due to prevailing weather conditions, J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has ordered postponement of the examination for the post of Junior Engineer ( Civil), which was scheduled to be held on August 31, 2025.

A notification in this regard was issued today by the JKSSB, according to which, the OMR Based Examination for the post of Junior Engineer ( Civil), advertised vide notification number 03 of 2025, dated 24-04-2025, scheduled to be held on 31-08-2025, is postponed due to prevailing weather conditions.
The fresh date of the said examination shall be notified separately in due course of time, read the notification, advising the candidates to regularly visit official website of the Board for further updates.
Meanwhile, J&K Board of School Education has also ordered postponement of Annual (Private)/ Bi-Annual examination papers of Class 10th and 11th , scheduled to be held on August 27, 2025 (Wednesday).
As per the notification, the examination papers, scheduled to be held on August 27, 2025, in the UTs of J&K and Ladakh, stand postponed in view of the continued inclement weather and flood situation in parts of J&K.
