JDS expresses concern over shifting of AIIMS

JAMMU, Apr 3: Janta Dal Secular (JDS) has expressed its serious concern over shifting of AIIMS from Jammu to Srinagar.
In a meeting held under Mast Nath Yogi, State unit president, the members said that shifting of AIIMS is not acceptable  and has appealed Prime Minister of India to act accordingly for the welfares of the Jammu region and also demanded to check discrimination with Jammu and Ladakh regions.
The meeting also expressed serious concern over charging of huge toll tax at Bantalab, Nagrota which is totally unacceptable, and should be immediately stopped, they added.
Others present in the meeting were Kulbir Singh, Ranjay Bargotra, Ram Rattan Sharma, Bhagwati Saran, Haji Addul Rehman, Amrik Sigh Jamwal and R R Sharma.
