POONCH, Nov 21: A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of the Army lost his life after he slipped into a deep gorge in the Behramgalla area of Poonch district on Friday.
Official sources said that the incident took place in the evening when an Army deployment party was on routine movement at Dhok Pattancore, Behramgalla.
“During the movement, Subedar Sajeesh K suddenly slipped and fell into a deep gorge, resulting in his on-spot death,” sources added.
The body was retrieved by the troops and shifted to Surankote hospital from Behramgalla.
