UDHAMPUR, Nov 23: In an apparent case of suicide, a young JCB driver was found hanging from a tree near his house at village Kaghot in Ramnagar.
According to the Police report, Ashok Singh (34), son of Mulkh Raj resident of village Kaghot, was found hanging from a tree near his home under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by some locals, a team of Police Station Ramnagar rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for the post-mortem.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Ramnagar Police have registered the case and started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a middle aged woman sustained serious injuries after she fell from a tree. Identified as Shanti Devi, 58 year old, resident of village Khee of Ramnagar, the woman was rushed to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors referred her to GMC Jammu.
