JBSA deputation meets Sakina Itoo

JAMMU, July 17: A deputation of Jammu Book Suppliers Association (JBSA) today met the Minister of Higher Education, Sakina Itoo in Srinagar and raised issues being faced by the book suppliers.
The delegation highlighted the issues arising from the varying terms and conditions in the Expressions of Interest (EOIs) issued by various college principals during the purchase process and requested the implementation of uniform terms and conditions in EOIs to avoid confusion and to streamline the otherwise lengthy process.
The Association also appealed to the Minister for immediate release of pending payments and the release of CDRs pledged during the procurement process.
Ruchi Chouhan Khan, president Jammu Book Suppliers Association, led the deputation and she was accompanied by general secretary, Nishchal Anand; vice president, Harbinder Singh; Narvinder Singh, deputy secretary; Vibhav Gupta, treasurer; Lutfsar Azad, Sanjay Anand and I.P Singh.
