RAJOURI, Aug 8: The Army authorities have ordered court of inquiry after dead body of a soldier was found hanging inside the unit in Rajouri area late this evening.
Sources said that body of Sepoy Rajinder Singh Chouhan (24 yrs ) of 525 ASC Battalion located in Rajouri area, was found hanging in a barrack at around 8.30 pm. The other jawans noticed the body and informed senior officers. The matter was later brought to the notice of Rajouri police.
The police party led by SHO examined the spot and later shifted the body for postmortem to District Hospital, Rajouri. The jawan hailed from Uttar Pradesh. The police has launched inquest proceedings into the case. The GOC of Rajouri Garrison has ordered court of inquiry into the matter.
