POONCH, Oct 30: An Army jawan (Agniveer) was injured after his service gun went off accidentally in Poonch sector today.
Official sources said that incident took place during a practice session in a forward location near the Line of Control. While cleaning, the rifle went off, injuring his toe. Identified as Krishanpal Singh of 6 Madras, the jawan was taken to Army Field Hospital, Poonch for treatment, officials said.
