JAMMU, Apr 30: SBI Channi Himmat Branch Manager, Javaid Ashraf Choudhary, under the leadership of Regional Manager K.J Raina, has been conferred Desh Ratna Award at a function in New Delhi.
The award was given by the Union Ministry of Rural Development in collaboration with J&K Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
A handout stated that the honour was conferred upon Choudhary in recognition to his exceptional contributions to rural development, financial empowerment and grassroots entrepreneurship.
