KATHUA, July 17: In a significant development for the healthcare sector in the region, MLA Jasrota, Rajiv Jasrotia today laid the foundation stone for a Block Public Health Unit (BPHU) worth Rs 40 lakh, an extension of PHC Dinga Amb.
The ceremony was attended by CMO Kathua, BMO Hiranagar and Tehsildar Dinga Amb. Speaking on the occasion, Jasrotia said the BPHU will provide essential healthcare services to the local community, enhancing access to quality medical care. He said recently, 4.8 Kanal revenue land was identified and officially transferred to PHC Dinga Amb for this health infrastructure project. Reiterating his commitment to public health he said the initiative is a significant step towards improving public health services in the region, demonstrating the Government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare facilities.

I commend the efforts of CMO Kathua, BMO Hiranagar and Tehsildar Dinga Amb for their dedication to this project.” CMO Kathua played a key role in facilitating the development of the BPHU. BMO Hiranagar supported the project and ensured its smooth implementation. Tehsildar Dinga Amb facilitated the land transfer and supported the development plans, said Jasrotia.
MLA reiterated that the Block Public Health Unit (BPHU) at PHC Dinga Amb will provide essential healthcare services to our community, and “I am committed to ensuring its successful implementation’’. He also thanked CMO Kathua, BMO Hiranagar, and Tehsildar Dinga Amb for their tireless efforts in making this project a reality. This BPHU is a testament to our Government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare facilities and improving the health and well-being of our citizens. “I am confident that this facility will make a positive impact on the lives of our people, and I look forward to its successful completion’’, said Jasrotia.
