JASROTA, Dec 24: Aimed at improving mobility and the day-to-day lives of local residents in the Jasrota constituency, MLA Rajiv Jasrotia today inaugurated two important road projects.
The event underscored ongoing efforts to fortify rural infrastructure and foster sustainable regional development.
The first project inaugurated was the approach road connecting Juthana village with the Juthana Bridge, a vital stretch measuring 500 meters and constructed at a cost of Rs 50 lakh.
Following this, MLA Jasrotia inaugurated the Seswan to Rajani ST Basti Road, completed at a cost of Rs 5 lakh.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Jasrotia emphasized the transformative impact of the road, noting that it will facilitate smooth transportation, enhance the movement of goods and services and improve access to healthcare, education and markets for the villagers.
“Such infrastructure initiatives are not merely constructions of concrete and asphalt but pathways to opportunity and progress for rural communities,” he said and reiterated the government’s commitment to people-centric development, stressing that every infrastructure initiative is designed to uplift the quality of life of residents.
The MLA urged local communities to take an active role in maintaining these assets to ensure their longevity and maximize the benefits of development.
The event also provided an opportunity for MLA Jasrotia to engage with the public, listen to their concerns and reaffirm his commitment to practical solutions addressing everyday needs.
