JAMMU, Feb 15: Vice Chairman J&K SIDCO, Subash Jandial took stock of the working of SIDCO today and also to ascertain the progress of the works being executed by the Engineering Wing of the Estates Manager of the Industrial Estate Bari Brahmana, he took round of the industrial complex there.
During his tour Jandial chaired a meeting with the staff and union leaders to SIDCO at Industrial Estate Bari Brahmana.
During the site inspections he directed the Executive staff to accelerate the progress of the Centrally sponsored and other schemes which are under implementation so that the fruits of progress are transformed to the industrial unites in the Estate.
Jandial also sought report from the Estate Manager about the land, which was allotted to the sister Corporation and the same was transferred/ sold by them to the other agencies without taking SIDCO into confidence, thus violating the rules of the Corporation and accordingly, the matter is to be taken up with the concerned agencies.
He also instructed the staff to be vigilant to avoid encroachment of the Estate land.
