Jamwal takes serious note of insanitary condition

JAMMU, Nov 11: Chairman Public Health & Sanitation Committee (PH&SC) of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Narinder Singh Jamwal here today inspected Wards 1, 2 and 3 and took a serious note of insanitary condition there.
While checking the ongoing sanitation drives in these Wards, the Chairman noticed that lanes in these Wards were cleaned but the drains were not satisfactorily cleaned.
He directed the sanitation staff to clean the drains properly as the same shall be inspected again.
Jamwal said that JMC has initiated sanitation drive in all JMC Wards of the city.
He said that sanitation drive is being conducted in three Wards on daily basis and the same will continue till December 18, 2021.
The Chairman said that he himself is supervising the ongoing sanitation drive by personally visiting all the Wards and assured that he will not compromise on the issues of health, hygiene and sanitation.
He directed the sanitation staff to work round the clock as there is no room for lethargy or discrimination.
Jamwal said that onus of making Jammu city as one of the best cities in the world lies on JMC and this dream can only be realized when each and every constituent of the civic body will contribute with sincerity and devotion.
Assuring better services, the Chairman sought cooperation of people to make Jammu a model city.
