Jamwal invited to UN Convention on crime

JAMMU, July 25: Advocate Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, president Criminologists Society of Jammu and Kashmir has been invited to 14th United Nations Crime Congress on `Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice’ to be held in Kyoto, Japan.
Since 1955, the United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice has been bringing together high level representative of Governments, Inter Governmental and Non Governments groups, criminal justice professionals and scholars to discuss common concerns, share experiences and seek viable solutions to problems related to crime prevention and criminal justice.
The Conference will also see the participation of United Nations Secretary General, Prime Minister of host country, other top officials of the UN, World Bank, IMF, Interpol, UNICEF etc.
Jamwal will be speaking on the theme `Crime Prevention Through Yoga and Meditation, A New Way To Achieve UN Sustainable Goals’.
