JAMMU, Aug 12: Jammu Sanskriti School, here today organized a Leadership Programme to formally induct the newly elected Students Council for the academic session 2025–26, showcasing the school’s dedication to nurturing value-based, visionary leaders.
The event was graced by Dr. Vinod Kumar, DIG IRP Jammu, as chief guest. His presence added dignity and inspiration to the ceremony, which began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by the presentation of saplings and a welcome card. Students performed a melodious welcome song and a graceful dance, celebrating unity and leadership.
The oath-taking ceremony was led by Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson, Rohini Aima, where council members pledged to uphold the school’s honour and values. Vice Principal Avneet Kaur Budhraja delivered the welcome address, and the vote of thanks was presented by Senior Coordinator Munmun Kohli.
Dr. Vinod Kumar, along with Rohini Aima, Chairman Harpreet Singh Anand, and members of the management, conferred badges and sashes upon the new council. Teachers were felicitated with certificates and cash awards for excellent board results. Student Council Heads for 2025–26 included Senior Wing Heads Abhishek Choudhary and Japjeev Kaur and Junior Wing Heads Rajveer Singh and Stuti Sharma.
Dr. Vinod Kumar urged students to lead with integrity, resilience, and service. Rohini Aima congratulated the council and thanked the Chief Guest for his motivating words. The CCA Department ensured a well-coordinated event, supported by enthusiastic participation from staff and students.
