On my recent visit to Jammu I had a harrowing experience while driving through the roads of Jammu, which have all the preconditions of what you require for a rough and tough road. How do people of Jammu bear this is a million dollar question? Are they so meek not to raise the voice lest somebody gets annoyed. What the previous Governments have been doing is any body’s guess and one should not expect miracles from the present Govt which is in infancy yet and the same set of people.
One observes that most of the roads are dotted with patches of different shapes and sizes. In my opinion, anybody doing research on patches, Jammu roads are the best example to present a paper. It seems handly any road is blacktopped in full except of course VIP roads
