JAMMU, May 21: As the heat wave continues in J&K, Jammu witnessed the hottest day of the season today with 41.4 degree Celsius temperature.

Sources at Metrological Department informed that Banihal recorded a maximum of 30.4, Batote 30.1, Katra 36.8 and Bhaderwah 31.3 degree Celsius temperature.
In Kashmir, Srinagar recorded a temperature of 32 degree Celsius, Qazigund 33.2, Pahalgam 25.8, Kupwara 30, Kokernag 31.5 and Gulmarg 23.2. They also informed that there will be no immediate relief from the scorching heat as the temperature is likely to remain same in few coming days and slight rains may occur at isolated places.
