JAMMU, Feb 13: The elections for 13,000 vacant posts of Panchs and Sarpanchs in Jammu and Kashmir will be held from March 5, the Chief Election Officer J&K Shailendra Kumar announced on Thursday.
ELECTION SCHEDULE FOR PANCHAYAT BYE ELECTIONS
Shailendra Kumar during Press Conference said Elections to be held in eight phases from March 5 to 20.
Panchyats Elections will be the first in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 and bifurcation of the state into union territories in August 2019.
