JAMMU, Nov 28: The Jammu Fashion Week (JFW) will start from Nov 30 to Dec 1 at KC Emporia-Luxury Banquets & Resorts, here.
In a press conference here today the organizers stated that in Season-1 of JFW, Shivani Gupta, Vanita Thakur and Sidharth Dogra along with Show Director, Pallav Bose will welcome all to be a part of the event.
“The models will walk the ramp for the various designers of the State and the country on day-1and day-2 of JFW while the visitors at JFW will have a wide variety of items to choose from the grand unveil,” the organizers told reporters.
They further said that an exhibition for public will also be organised.
“It will be platform for the budding models from the State and designers and the rehearsals of ‘Kids and Moms’ ramp walk has entered into final stage,” the organizers further said.
They also said that the event will encourage home grown fashion labels.
“Designers are adding final touches to their designs created with intricate skills for the event,” they maintained.
They said that JFW is also an attempt to bring peace and harmony in the State and to bridge gaps among various cultures with tagline is Promoting Fashion Tourism.
“Designers have come up with premium collection ranging from perennial traditional Dogri, Ladakhi and Kashmiri embellishments, cuts and fabrics to Couture Fashion which is inspired by the cultural richness of the region,” they said.
