JAMMU, May 31: Big 92.7 FM has declared the results of the latest category of the ongoing grand awards which are meant to be ‘For the City, By the City’- Big Jammu Pride Awards.
This fortnight’s category was Best Salon of Jammu and the award has been bagged after a tough fight by Looks Unisex Salon, Channi Himmat.
Big Jammu Pride Awards are all about those things of Jammu that really make us feel proud of our city. It may range from a street, eating joint, restaurant, best theatre, monument, heritage place, tourist destination or a bazaar.
The category for the month of May was fashion in which people were first asked to nominate their favorite market for best summer fashion collection and in the second fortnight the sub-category was salon and on the basis of public voting and Jury members’ top 4 salons were chosen. People were then asked to vote for their favorite one to make it Jammu’s No 1. Also the jury members Maansi Gupta Centre Director JD Institute and Vickrant Mahajan Model-cum-Actor rated all four of them as per their expertise. Public voting was done through whatsapp and on-air calls and the cumulative results were in favour of the Looks Unisex Salon.
An award function was organized today in which the Chairperson of Looks Unisex Salon, Channi Himmat Ritika Trehan and her team was presented the award by Programming Head 92.7 Big FM Vikrant Sharma and jury members.
