JAMMU, Nov 11: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha provided relief to a needy flood affected victim, who was denied any assistance by the Government.
A poor victim, namely Rajni Gupta, wife of Rakesh Gupta, resident of 15, Mohalla Dalpatian, whose house was badly damaged in the floods on 26th of August 2025, approached Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha for some relief as she was denied the same from the Govt due to lack of some land related documents.
The Sabha officials, in their verification, found that the lady was indeed very poor and her husband was also handicapped. The Sabha members also assessed the loss suffered by the family due to flood.
After verifying all the facts the Sabha President Romesh Chander Gupta immediately decided to release some suitable amount in her favour to get her damaged house repaired. Sanjay Mahajan informed that am amount of Rs 25 thousand was given to her for repairing her house.
Shiv Partap Gupta(Senior Vice President), Atul Gupta, Surinder Gupta, Subash Gupta, Balbir Gupta and others were present while handing over relief cheque to the victim.
