JAMMU, Oct 14: Dr. Amit Bhushan Sharma, Cardiologist who hails from Jammu and is son of Dr. D.B. Sharma has been named as the best interventional Cardiologist under 50 years in Gurgaon (2014) by Prime Time Research Limited which organized the Global Healthcare Excellence Awards, 2014 to felicitate Nation’s leading doctors, surgeons, clinics, hospitals, scholars, researchers, individuals and organizations which that have displayed exemplary excellence as healthcare service providers.  Global Healthcare Excellence Awards, 2014, honored more than 50 awardees for demonstrating innovation, dedication, creativity and excellence in the healthcare sector.
Dr  Sharma after doing his D.M Cardiology worked as a consultant Cardiologist for a period of three years in world renowned Heart Hospitals in U.S.A – Mount Sinai New York and Prestigious Michigan State University U.S.A.
Presently he is working as a Senior Consultant Cardiologist in Artemis Hospital Gurgaon. Dr. Amit has performed over 500 coronary interventions and is an expert in newer procedures of treatment of heart diseases  without Surgery  TAVI / TAVR TRENDS.
