JAMMU, Dec 23: Tearing into the Government for its utter failure on all fronts, Namrta Sharma, president Women’s Wing of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu and Kashmir has pooh-poohed the Lt Governor led Union Territory administration for turning the City of Temples into a ‘Powerless City’ instead of the much clamoured ‘Smart City’.
She said that it is an irony of the people of Jammu that despite making tall claims about working relentlessly towards transforming it into a ‘Smart City’, the people are suffering badly on account of the unprecedented mess of unabated disruptions in power supply amidst unscheduled power cuts having become the new norm of the Power Department.
This was stated by Namrta Sharma Women’s Wing chief of AAP in a statement issued here, today.
Namrta Sharma said that the incumbent J&K administration and the BJP Government at the Centre have proved to be utter failure in addressing the problems and issues of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. In fact these incumbent dispensations are the ‘Jumla’ dispensations focusing only on propaganda and delivering a big zero on ground, she added.
