JAMMU, Oct 17: The Alto 800 in new form was launched by Jamkash Vehicleades Pvt Ltd at its Channi Himmat Showroom here today.
Anoop Bhat, Executive Manager, JK Bank Residency Road, Jammu graced the occasion while the guests, prospective buyers and all staff members of the dealership were also present.
The new Alto 800 sports a fresh look. It is roomier, 15 percent more fuel efficient and is even better “geared’’ for the city conditions, a handout issued by Jamkash Vehicleades said.
It said the New Alto 800 comes with completely refreshed and contemporary exteriors. Interiors too have been given a more utilitarian approach as well as plush fuel. The new Alto comes with the best in class mileage and many safety features including driver side airbag as an option.
During the launch of the New Alto, Col (Retd) Rattan Singh, General Manager of Jamkash Vehicleades said that at 22.74 kmph the fuel efficiency of the Alto 800 is up by a whopping 15 per cent .This has been possible with the focused efforts in engine engineering. Major factors that have helped increase the fuel efficiency are increased compression ratio and improved volumetric efficiency, he added.
Sumit Malhotra Manager Sales said the new Alto 800 will be a driver’s delight. It will be available in six colours, frost blue, superior white, silky silver, granite grey, blazing red and torque blue in three variants Std. Lx to be priced between Rs 2.49 to Rs 3.27 lakh.
