JAMMU, Jan 29: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has ordered the transfers and postings of 27 Indian Information Service (IIS) Group ‘A’ officers, with key changes involving officers from Jammu and Kashmir.

As per an order issued on January 27, Neha Jalali, presently posted as Director (M&C), PIB Jammu, has been assigned additional charge of the Central Bureau of Communication, Regional Office, Jammu, following the superannuation of the incumbent Ghulam Abbas on January 31, 2026.
In another move, Ayushi Puri has been transferred from her post as Deputy Director, CBC Jammu, and posted as Deputy Director (News) at the Regional News Unit, Doordarshan Kendra Jammu.
Meanwhile, Vivek Pathak, Assistant Director (News), Doordarshan Kendra Jammu, has been transferred and directed to work in the Prime Minister’s Office as Reference Officer on the strength of Assistant Director (M&C), PIB New Delhi.
