Jagti township residents facing water crisis

JAMMU, Sept 3: The inmates of Jagti Township have expressed grave concern over water scarcity and urged the Jal Shakti authorities and Relief Department to solve the problem immediately.
In a joint statement, Sunil Pandita and Vijay Kaul two social activist from the camp said that for last one week the Jagti township inmates are facing water crisis and the authorities are not paying any attention to settle the same.
The said that the water crisis in the township is a continuous process as the present scheme meant for supplying water to township has turned out to be a failure.
They reiterated their demand of constructing bore wells in the township to meet out the pressing problems of people.
