Jagpal elected President Panchayat Secretary Association Jammu

JAMMU, Mar 2: Jagpal Panoch of Block Dansal was elected as the new President of the Jammu District unit of the All Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Secretary Association (AJKPSA).
Panoch won the election by securing 49 votes, defeating his opponent, Chandan Dogra of Block Satwari, who received 23 votes. A total of 80 votes were cast, with 8 voters abstaining from the process.
Following his election, Panoch expressed his commitment to addressing the genuine demands and rights of Panchayat Secretaries, promising that the new team would work tirelessly to fulfil these objectives.
The election process was overseen by Gourav Sharma, who served as the Returning Officer, with Haider Ali acting as Assistant Returning Officer. Sumit Sharma, Narinder Malhotra and Shabir Ahmed were also part of the election team.
Special invitees at the event included Provincial President of AJKPSA, Jaffar Choudhary, Provincial Cashier Rajesh Dutta, and several prominent members, including Ram Kishore, Moti Lal, Rajinder Singh, Arun Mishra, Jagdish Raj and Om Parkash.
