NEW DELHI: The relaxation in upper age limit for residents of Jammu and Kashmir was today extended, till 2017, by the Centre for recruitments to various central civil services and posts.
The Personnel Ministry has notified the Residents of the State of Jammu and Kashmir (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit for Recruitment to Central Civil Services and posts) Amendment Rules, 2015 extending the relaxation in upper age to 2017 from 2015.
People from Jammu and Kashmir have got extension in upper age limit to appear in various Central Government related examinations, including the civil services exam to select IAS and IPS. (AGENCIES)
