JAMMU, Jan 2: J&K Bhoomi Human Welfare Society Cultural Organization in coordination with Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) and Sangam Tru Art Production released a book titled ‘Vechay Roozum’ by J.K Koul (Bezaan).
The book contained Bhajans, songs and mystic poetry.
Swami Kumar Ji Maharaj was chief guest on the occasion while Dr. Agnishekhar, eminent poet, writer; renowned personality of J&K including M.L Dogra, Chairman BLSKS; Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, Senior Drama Instructor; Ramesh Hangloo, Founder Radio Sharda and Verinder Bangroo, Director IGAU Ministry of Culture were guests of honour.
Asha Zaroo, Bharti Zaroo, J.K Raina, Kamal Razdan, M.C Kotwal, Shanti Lal Sidh and others were also present on the occasion.
Speakers on the occasion said that Bezaan has been contributing to theatre, acting, magazines and his programmes were broadcasted from DDK, Radio Kashmir Srinagar/Jammu and he is also famous for various talks on Radio Sharda Jammu.
An impressive musical programme was also presented on this occasion where few lyrics from the book ‘Vechay Roozum’ were recited by Usha Handoo, Sandeep Koul, Sumita Bhat and Anmol Raj wherein the music was composed by Sandeep Koul while Rajat & Suraj Sant Das played Synth and Tabla.
Earlier Jatinder Jotshi Director/Actor, J&K Bhoomi HWS delivered welcome address and the programme was conducted by P.K Raina.
Programme was organized by Susheel Bhat, Kuldeep Handoo (Dronachariya Awardee sports) and Anita Chandpuri (Social Activist) and renowned artists of J&K Bhommi were felicitated on this occasion.
