NEW DELHI, Jan 3: Indian Youth Congress (IYC), president, Uday Bhanu Chib has flashed letters to the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Union External Affairs Minister, Dr S. Jaishankar regarding the safety and well being of Indian Medical students currently studying in Iran.
IYC National president, Uday Chib in his letters stated, ” In view of the concerns surrounding Indian Medical students in Iran, I have written to the Prime Minister and the External Affairs Minister, calling for immediate measures to ensure their safety and reassurance. The safety of Indian Medical students in Iran cannot be left to uncertainty. Indian Youth Congress stands with every Indian student studying abroad.”
Chib has asked the Govt of India to seek immediate intervention to ensure the protection and reassurance of Indian Medical students in Iran as their parents in India, and specially in Jammu and Kashmir are worried.
