JAMMU, Dec 5: A team from Innerwheel Club (IWC) Jammu Tawi led by its president, Vanita Kohli here today visited Home for the Aged & Infirm (Vridh Ashram), Ambphalla.
The visiting team included Vanita Kohli, president; Jaswant Kour, secretary; Paramjit Kour, former president; Dr. Santosh Gupta, former president; Suresh Bala, editor, Anju Khajuria, Harvinder Kour and Dr. Arti Bakshi.
The team spent quality time with Vridh Ashram inmates and listened to their experiences and shared the moments of joy.
As a thoughtful gesture of love and respect, the team distributed various daily-use items to the inmates.
The elderly residents deeply appreciated this act of kindness which brought smiles to their faces and strengthened their sense of belongingness.
Adding special charm to the programme, inmates Rajinder Singh Rajput and Shiv Kumar showcased their artistic talent enthralling the visitors with their performances.
On behalf of the Home, Dr. Dinesh Gupta, secretary; Vijay Gupta, joint secretary; Pankaj Gupta, MCM and Rajinder Singh, life member extended heartfelt gratitude to Vanita Kohli and the entire IWC Jammu Tawi team for their visit.
The Managing Committee further appreciated the IWC’s continuous dedication to social causes and expressed hope that such meaningful engagements would continue to inspire others to contribute towards the welfare of senior citizens.
