JAMMU, Oct 23: Inner Wheel Club (IWC), a social organization, organized a free eye camp at Old Age Home in Ambphalla.
The inmates of the Old Age Home were diagnosed for various ailments and provided free medicines on the spot.
Dr Payal Gupta, an eye specialist, lent her service to these patients who were not getting any free medical treatment outside the home due to their financial difficulties.
Speaking on the occasion, Meena Jaggi, IWC president, said that their club members pay periodically visits at the Old Age Home and enquire the difficulties and share pain and suffering of the inmates.
Pooja Malhotra, Literacy co- ordinator of IWC, while teaching the Yoga postures to all inmates told that if they want to keep themselves fit and active, they should practice yoga in the morning before engaging in their day-to-day activities.
