KATRA, Mar 30: Two-day “Save the Trikuta Mountains” Awareness Campaign was organized by International Volunteer Foundation (IVF), Jammu and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra.
The motive behind organizing the awareness campaign was to aware the tourists, shopkeepers and locals about their responsibilities towards environment which is an integral part of human life.

They were raising slogans like “Less Pollution is the Best Solution, Save Trikuta Save Tomorrow, Keep Trikuta Hills Clean and Green, Vaishno Devi is a Holy Place not Picnic Spot, etc”. The Students also distributed pamphlets among the tourists and shopkeepers and stressed on ban over polythene and plastic products.
