I’ve come here to ease your sufferings: PM tells Kashmiris

SRINAGAR :  Prime Minister Narendra Modi today assured the people of Kashmir that he would bring back  the valley’s lost glory that once beckoned, people from all the corners of the world with its saffron and Dal Lake.    “I have come here to end your sufferings…I will bring back Kashmir’s lost glory,” the Prime Minister said in an address at an election rally amid a tight  security blanket and in the backdrop of terrorist  attacks.
“Pahad ka paani aur pahad ki jawani pahad kay kaam  aani chahiye (Water and the youth of the mountains should  serve the mountains,” he said to the crowd, while  promising to bring back development to the state.    He said the people of Kashmir had tried many ways  but nothing had worked and now only one way was left  and that was the way of of ‘vikas’ (development).    “I have come here with a mantra of development and  my mantra is ‘sabka Saath, sabka vikas,” he added.
