MENDHAR, July 31: Tehsildar Mendhar has seized the record of ITI Mendhar and initiated an inquiry into the alleged bunglings with regard to fake admissions, missing of computers/ equipment etc.
The action has been taken by the administration on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Poonch after some students and their parents approached him alleging bungling being committed in the ITI Mendhar and the state of affairs prevailing there in the Institute.
A police party under the supervision of SDPO, Shahid Nahim accompanied the Tehsildar Shahzad Khan seized the registers and other record of ITI and started inquiry. The matter related to fake admissions, misuse of funds, missing of equipment/ computers etc has come to light. The inquiry is in progress. The students also gave vital clues about the state of affairs in the Institute said that that there was no full fledged Superintendent posted there and additional charge has been given to the ITI head, Surankote Niaz Ahmed.
