JAMMU, Apr 28: J&K ITI Employees United Front delegation called on Principal Secretary, Skill Development Departent, Asgar Samoon here today and discussed their issues.
Led by United Front president, Nazir Ahmed Molvi, the delegation members during meeting with Principal Secretary at Civil Secretariat, Jammu today, had detailed discussion on the long pending genuine demands. The delegation sought filling up of vacancies of Superintendents / Principals / Deputy Directors lying vacant in ITI’s of J&K, due to which the training programme has suffered badly.
It further sought finalization of recruitment rules both for Gazetted and Non-gazetted staff, uniform pay scale of instructors/supervisors and immediate release of pay dues of VTIP employees, enhancement of salary of contractual, academic and consolidated VI’s, immediate placement of supervisors, group instructors and AVTS instructors, holding of DPC for Gazetted and Non- gazetted staff to clear pending promotions and filling up of vacant posts in different categories /cadre. They also submitted a memorandum with charter of demands to the Principal Secretary.
Karan Singh, general secretary and Arun Suri senior executive member of the Front, Director Skill Development J&K, Sajjad Hussain Ganai, Additional Secretary Kuldeep Kumar Spolia, Joint Director Mohd Shafi Bhat, Hayaz Ahmed Bhat Under Secretary, Naveed Hussain Badroo, Under Secretary and representative from Law and Finance Department were also present in the meeting.
Principal Secretary gave a patient hearing to the leadership of J&K ITI Employees United Front and assured for taking necessary measures to fulfill all the demands projected at an earliest.
