ITBP returns lost purse with cash, documents to Yatri at Chandanwari

SRINAGAR, July 15: In a rare act of honesty and dedication, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) today returned a lost purse containing cash and documents to a pilgrim at Chandanwari frisking point.
As per a statement, around 8 am, the personnel of DCoy, 46th Battalion, ITBP, found a purse containing approximately Rs 10,000 cash along with important documents.
It said the purse was promptly handed over by Assistant Commandant Sandeep Kalkal to its rightful owner, Ramakant Mathuriya son of Girraj Prasad, a resident of Khandar, Sawai Madhopur district in Rajasthan.
On receiving his purse, the yatri expressed gratitude to the ITBP for their honesty and prompt assistance during the pilgrimage.
